Schott?

Schott seems to be saying I can only rent the full score, is that right? And there's no PV score in print? (Even Ich Ging is out of print ... a friend found it and xeroxed it for me ... for study purposes only).

Is the whole opera just out of print???

Yes, I'm afraid HELIANE is out of print and for rental only. The PV is available to borrow from Mainz only. Oddly Ich Ging Zu Ihm IS in print for Violin and piano...Schott ED number is 1929.
The opera has only been staged twice since 1930, and there has been one concert performance (In Amsterdam). For that reason, the publisher does not think it worthwhile to keep it in print, unlike Tote Stadt which is performed regularly. This may account for its total neglect of course.
