When looking at all the possibilities, which recording or recordings of the Violin Concerto are the best, and why? Thanks!

My personal choice is JASCHA HEIFETZ but with the New York Philharmonic under the baton of Efrem Kurtz (with EWK as guest of honour, living in Essex House, Central Park, NY) dated March 27, 1947, published by the Canadian Rococo-LP 2074 and Japanese-CD KICC 2184 and Music And Arts-CD 766-2. May be more CDs.Bernd.-
