Piano reduction

Post by Alex C » Sat May 14, 2005 12:50 am

Several years ago I ran across a softcover piano reduction of several of the Korngold movie scores, I would guess it published by Warner's. Has anyone seen these?

Is there a chance anyone has this book or knows where it may be bought?

Thanks for the help.

Piano suites derived from four of the Korngold film scores were published some time ago by Warner Brothers, and are probably out of print:
The Adventures of Robin Hood
The Sea Hawk/Captain Blood
Kings Row

All but The Sea Hawk were subsequently included in a collection called "Deluxe Classic Film Scores for Piano" (1989), along with scores by Tiomkin, Steiner, and John Williams.

Thanks, all clues are appreciated. I'll look for the collection you mentioned, still... I'd like the Seahawk.

Dear Alex C,
I have the Sea Hawk suite(adapted and arranged by Dave Jessie,Warner 1987,11 pages), and if it wasn't for those copyright laws...

Thanks for the reply. I wish there was a legal way to photocopy but I often have the same reluctance myself.

If you run across another copy, find me here. Thanks!
