I just found a set of three unpublished fanfares for brass quintet proported to have been written by Korngold. I haven't seen these fanfares in a Korngold opus catalogue, though it would be a minor piece.

Would anyone venture to direct me to find out if they might be authentic?

Without seeing the music...or from where you got them - it would be impossible for me to say. Can you scan them & post here? I will then be able to identify them, if genuine.

I got these fanfares in a pdf file. I believe that this BBS will allow a link only, not an attachment, so I'll get them on the web somewhere and e-mail you the link. It'll take a day or two.
