Much ado about nothing

Post by Michael Schlechtriem » Tue Oct 16, 2007 1:02 am

I am back from my recent trip to Japan where, at Osaka, I performed among other works ( by J.Marx, Debussy, Prokofjew, Esser, Moeran and Beethoven)three times the "Much ado about nothing-Suite" in my transcription for Cello.
The audience was very pleased with this work and one Concert was for the Students of the Kwansei Gakuin University only.

It was very interesting to read the comments the Students had to write for the University about the music after the concert was finished:

Almost all of them wrote that the Korngold was among the most very beautiful music they have ever listened to and they want to hear more Music of this Composer!
Thanks to EWK, and I hope I did a good Job in interesting young people in the Music of Erich which had never before heard any of his compositions.
